Watched some more Ted Talks-The one by Jamie Oliver on food, was AMAZING!!! I got my 8 year old to watch it again with me. She knew all of the vegetables but the turnip (yay) & then we watched a few more. She now wants to be a weekday vegan (which I am fine with I already pretty much am). It made her sad too (just as it made me) when they talked about school lunches in our schools. She even applauded. I bet somebody is going to school & teach a teacher some things today. Did you know that the 10 billion animals we kill each year for meat cause more pollution/green house gases than all the transportation???? And that because of the way we eat now our children will live 10 years less than their parents?? SO Sad…Everyone should watch that one.
I just laughed so hard I can’t even begin to describe the strange sound I made. Sweet babies.
I am going to start & finish my day saying this to myself! (they say positive thinking works wonders lol)
